2nd Entry for Totally Stampalicious

Now that I finally succeeded in joining the world of cardmaking challenges, I remembered that I had another Totally Stampalicious image with a bow.  Here is a monochromatic Stella Nurse.  She was colored with Copics.  The papers are all Stampin' Up Soft Sky.

First Entry To A Contest

So far, I have been able to upload my cards here and on Splitcoast Stampers.  I've never uploaded to a challenge.  Yesterday, Totally Stampalicious issued a challenge to use a ribbon/bow on a card, and I wanted to add one of my cards to the site.

Once again, this technology-newbie flunked the course.  Nothing happened when I tried to enter my card through Mr. Linky.  Luckily for me, Becky from Totally Stampalicious responded to my email plea for help and gave me some advice.  Let's hope I can link it now.

This is Stella Birthday.  She always says what we all think!

Excitement

Last night I went on the Totally Stampalicious Facebook page and discovered that I was the winner of their "blog hop" comment prize.  And what a prize it is...one of their stamp sets!  I can't wait to hear from Rebeccah and Joycelyn to find out which one.  It doesn't matter because they are all wonderful.

If you haven't seen their new release or aren't familiar with their stamps, you MUST visit their site at www.totallystampalicious.com.  You will be an immediate fan, just as I was the first time I saw one of their images and hilarious phrases.

Because I am so happy, I thought I share a few more of the cards I made with their wonderful designs.

A New Beginning - June 14, 2012

A NEW BEGINNING

So, on May 26th, I took my first digital pictures of my cards and posted them to my blog.  Then I tried to post them to Splitcoast Stampers.  What a DISASTER!  The website told me my pictures were TOO BIG!  What do you mean…too big!  I took them with a camera…doesn’t  everyone!??
I found out that this technology-idiot knows even less about cameras than she knows about computers!  After some more head-banging and camera-investigating, I found that you just can’t shoot the perfect picture of your card, you have to put it on something called the “S” setting if you want to get (something called “Pixels”) to be small enough to be accepted to Splitcoast Stampers Gallery.

So I retook every picture and then struggled for 2 weeks to try to post some of my cards to that site.  It is a tough task to try to remember every stamp name, paper and designer paper you used for every card.  In some cases, I was successful; but in others, I couldn’t find any reference to the company.
Low and behold, I was amazed at the number of people who viewed and commented on my cards. What an affirmation and incentive to do better in the future.  Now, if I could only figure out how to post my cards elsewhere!!!

Here are a few of the cards I posted on Splitcoast Stampers.  If you go its “Gallery” and do a search for carleneanne, you can see all the cards I posted.

Hope I'm not boring you

Here are more of my Totally Stampalicious! cards.  (www.totallystampalicious.com).
"Gus and Stella" are quite a pair.  These have the words, "Then again so does insanity" on the inside of the card.
again, with the same sentiments
This one has the words, "Still remains a secret" on the inside.
Having been married for 40 years, I can only laugh along with Gus and Stella!
More Gus golfer:
and another
and, finally, some "Beer Guzzlin' Gus"
This Gus comes with 6 different sayings.  It was so hard to choose!

More Stampalicious

Just a few more Totally Stampalicious! (www.totallystampalicious.com) cards to share...Here is "Birthday Gus."  You get 2 different Gus figures and 2 phrases in this set.

Here's the other image from the set.
And I can't show you 'Birthday Gus" without giving equal space to "Stella Birthday."
...and another as a redhead!

Where to get stamps

Earlier, I posted some cards I made with some Totally Stampalicious! stamp sets, but I didn't provide a link to the company.  It is www.totallystampalicious.com.  If you want to have some fun, go to the website to view their images.  You won't stop laughing!
